A strong customer focus has been the hallmark of ISM since Jim Rutkowski Sr. bought his first drill press nearly 50-years ago. From humble beginnings in the Rutkowski family garage with one machine, ISM now includes 3 facilities in Erie, Pennsylvania with over 125,000 square feet of floor space, 65 state-of-the-art machines and 160 employees.
ISM is still owned and operated by the Rutkowski family. There is a sense of ownership that extends not just to the family members but to the employees who take pride in every Made in the USA product that leaves the shipping dock. As Rutkowski family ownership moves into its third generation, you can be sure customer focus business principals and a commitment to be the best will continue to be the cornerstones of success.
